Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the FedJobReady™ website, tools, guides, emails, and related services. FedJobReady™ is operated by 17795131 Canada Inc. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What FedJobReady Is

FedJobReady provides AI-assisted tools, educational materials, and document support for people applying to Canadian federal public service opportunities and related employment processes.

FedJobReady is not a law firm, recruitment agency, staffing authority, union, or government body. FedJobReady is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada, the Public Service Commission, the Treasury Board Secretariat, or any federal department or agency.

2. No Employment Guarantee

FedJobReady does not guarantee that you will be screened in, invited to an exam or interview, placed in a pool, or receive an offer. The Services are intended to help you present your experience more clearly and effectively. Final outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your source material, the posting, the assessment process, and the decisions of hiring organizations.

3. Honesty and User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the truth, accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriateness of the information and documents you submit.

You agree that you will not use the Services to:

  • invent experience, credentials, education, language profile, security status, or other qualifications you do not have
  • misrepresent your work history, duties, achievements, or employment status
  • impersonate another person
  • submit false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
  • use the Services to support fraud, deception, or unlawful conduct
  • attempt to manipulate, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass the Services, including through prompt injection, malicious formatting, automation, scraping, or attempts to defeat safeguards

FedJobReady rewrites and reorganizes user-provided material. It does not independently verify your claims. You remain fully responsible for anything you submit to an employer, hiring manager, or other third party.

If we reasonably believe that you are using the Services dishonestly, abusively, unlawfully, or in a way intended to circumvent safeguards or generate false or misleading application content, we may suspend or terminate access, cancel service, refuse support, and deny any refund request.

4. Input Quality and No Guarantee of Fit

Output quality depends heavily on the quality, detail, relevance, and accuracy of the material you provide.

FedJobReady is not required to produce a usable rewrite where:

  • the source material is sparse, incoherent, contradictory, clearly inadequate, or not genuinely yours to use
  • the posting, request, or role falls outside the intended scope of the Service
  • the requested output would require invention rather than rewriting
  • the user is attempting to force unsupported claims, unlawful content, or misleading results

We may refuse, limit, or terminate service where a request cannot be completed responsibly.

5. Accounts and Access

Some features require sign-in. Where sign-in is used, you agree to provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Payments

Certain Services are paid. By purchasing a paid Service, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.

7. Refunds

Because the Services are digital, personalized, and generated on demand, all sales are final unless required otherwise by applicable law.

If a paid output is materially defective because of a clear system failure, duplicate charge, or non-delivery caused by our systems, contact us within 24 hours at the support email shown on the site. We may, at our sole discretion:

  • regenerate the output
  • provide a service credit
  • issue a partial refund
  • issue a full refund

Refunds, credits, or re-delivery will not be provided for:

  • dissatisfaction arising from poor, incomplete, misleading, contradictory, or low-quality source material provided by the user
  • requests that would require invention of qualifications, experience, credentials, or facts
  • outcomes caused by the user's failure to review, edit, tailor, save, copy, download, or use the delivered output
  • failure to use, copy, save, or download the output within the 30-day access window described below
  • attempts to game, probe, hack, manipulate, stress-test, bypass safeguards, or otherwise misuse the Services
  • use of the Services for unsupported, unlawful, deceptive, or out-of-scope purposes
  • hiring outcomes, screening decisions, pool outcomes, interviews, offers, or any third-party decision

We are not responsible for poor results caused by poor input.

8. 30-Day Access Window

Paid outputs, rewrites, generated materials, and related downloadable content are made available for a limited period of 30 days from the date of delivery or purchase, whichever occurs first.

It is your responsibility to:

  • review your materials promptly
  • copy, download, or save any output you wish to keep
  • use the materials within that 30-day period

After the 30-day period:

  • we may delete the output, disable access to it, or stop hosting it
  • we are not required to restore, regenerate, re-send, or retain it
  • you are not entitled to a refund, credit, extension, or replacement because you did not access, save, copy, download, or use it in time

Because FedJobReady is a digital, personalized service, you are responsible for preserving any materials you wish to keep.

9. Privacy and Retention

Your use of the Services is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

We may retain, delete, anonymize, or disable access to submitted content, generated output, and related account data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, operational needs, and retention practices.

Any deletion, expiry, or removal of access after the 30-day period does not create any obligation on our part to continue storing your materials, re-send them, regenerate them, extend access, or provide a refund or credit.

10. Guide Downloads and Email Delivery

Some resources are delivered by email or download link. Delivery timing may vary due to third-party providers, spam filtering, outages, or user-entered email errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any file, download link, inbox placement, or third-party delivery provider.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services, including site design, branding, software, prompts, templates, workflows, graphics, copy, and compiled materials, are owned by FedJobReady or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use outputs you lawfully obtain through the Services for your own personal, internal, non-transferable application-related use. You may not resell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Services or outputs as a competing product or service.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, browser, or workflow.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, compliant, or suitable for your specific process. You should review and edit all outputs before using them.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FedJobReady and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, business, employment prospects, or anticipated savings arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if:

  • you breach these Terms
  • you misuse the Services
  • you create legal, security, operational, or reputational risk
  • we reasonably believe you are attempting to deceive third parties or misuse generated output
  • we are required to do so by law

Termination does not create any right to refund, credit, continued access, or re-delivery.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable Canadian jurisdiction identified by FedJobReady and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
